Jakarta Governor, Basuki "Ahok" T Purnama said that budget for salary of National Army and Police has finally been approved by Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD). The budget post includes in Regional Working Unit (SKPD) that needs help from both institutes. 

It was been approved by Legislative Council for a long time

The salary will be given to those seconded Army and Police only. According to Ahok, the regulation of salary paying had been existed on the regulation of previous governor. It is only, its amount is increased this year from Rp 200,000 up to Rp 250,000 compared to last year which reached Rp 100,000 up to Rp 125,000. " It was been approved by Legislative Council for a long time ," he said, at City Hall, Thursday (7/30).

However, he was reluctant to give more comment regarding insinuation of the House of Representatives (DPR) member who told that the salary paying violate the rule. "If that so, please ask the Home Ministry, the regulation had been so long," he expressed. 

Such policy is based on Gubernatorial Regulation No. 238/2015 about salary paying to seconded Army and Police. The regulation was signed on March 3, 2015. The 7th article regulated fund of honorarium giving budgeted to Jakarta SKPD that in charge of security, disciplining, and reaching. 

Besides salary, the Army and Police are also given food allowance amounted to Rp 38,000 per person a day.
